New York Rubble

Greetings from New York.  The weather is freezing, but we've gotten amazing luck with our vintage shopping here (I'm talking vintage CHANEL kind of lucky).

Jorge and I finally got a chance to do a photo shoot in my hometown of Newburgh, New York.  I lived here from when I was 12 years old to the time I graduated high school.  These photos were taken in a small park near my home.  The sweater (which is appropriately named the Hometown Girl Sweater) is from the store.  The sunglasses were a lovely gift from Proopticals.

I got an incredibly sweet feature on Khabor.com, a Bengali online news website (Bangladesh is where I'm from).  If you don't have the Bengali script in your computer (and I'm assuming most of you don't), then it'll come up as crazy symbols and nonsense, but I thought I'd share the link with you anyway.  It's probably the feature my parents and I are themost proud of <3

I've posted some new items in the store, with more to come tonight.  xoxo

  2. Your sweater is really cute! Great photography- the first photo is fabulous and the location is mint especially as it seems perfectly matched to the weather! Did you shoot in the morning or at dusk? I really like the styling of your blog so I've followed :)

  17. @ katecrackpot - you totally made me blush. xoxo

@ Barsha - Hi love! I was born in Bangladesh and came to the States when I was three. Both of my parents spoke Bangla with me after we came here, so I'm very proud to say I do speak Bangla :) I can't communicate in Bangla as smoothly as a native, but I can muddle through :)
