Backstage With: Cirque du Soleil's TOTEM
Jorge and I got the chance to see Cirque du Soleil's new show TOTEM a few days ago. Plus side: we got to sit with Dani and Amanda :) ... and we were all blown away.
To say the show was simply "great" would be a serious understatement. This cast of international talent completely blew me away. From acrobats, to dancers, to singers, these performers were clearly dedicated to their craft, and their lifelong commitment to the visual arts was apparent (and amazing).
After the show, we got to take a peek backstage to see where it all comes together. A huge component of the show is wardrobe and costume - the performers wear a wide array of clothing, from full bodied, rhinestone-clad suits to intricate Native American inspired tribal sets. Even though there are tons of costumes, each one has an immense amount of detail and care.
A huge thank you to the TOTEM PR team for giving us the chance to experience the show! To learn more information about TOTEM and where you can see it for yourself, click here.
